I am a biologist with a PhD in Zoology, and my research focuses on the ecology, demography, and conservation biology of herpetofauna. During my PhD, I studied native and non-native lizard populations in the Aeolian Archipelago to gather essential information for defining a conservation strategy for Podarcis raffonei. I am currently a postdoctoral researcher affiliated with the LEC, Roma Tre University, and CNR-IRET, where I work on the conservation of Podarcis raffonei within the LIFE EOLIZARD project, contributing to the captive breeding and population monitoring of Aeolian wall lizards and the control of invasive rats and lizard populations.
