I am a PhD student specialized in ecology and evolution, with a particular focus on processes occurring in island contexts. My research focuses mainly on lacertid species, used as model species to investigate how insularity influences the morphology, morphometry, diet and functional performance of these animals. Through an integrated approach combining fieldwork, morphometric analysis and statistical methods, I study the ecological and evolutionary mechanisms underlying phenotypic differences between populations. My goal is to contribute to the understanding of the adaptive processes operating in island ecosystems and their role in structuring biological variability.
